PROVOST BY IGNITE9 · HOW IT WORKS
From a plain-language request to finished, approved work.
Provost by Ignite9 is the governed AI operating system. People ask for work the way they would ask a colleague. Governed AI agents do it across your business systems, and your people keep every decision that changes a system.
SIX STEPS, EVERY TIME
The work moves. The authority stays with you.
- 01
Ask in plain language
A person asks for the work in the web workspace, in English or Arabic. No forms, no new application to learn.
- 02
A planner splits the work
The planner breaks the request into tasks and hands each one to a specialist agent with only the access that task needs.
- 03
Every action is checked
The policy engine allows, holds or refuses each action. Business data is masked before anything reaches an outside AI model.
- 04
People approve changes
Anything that changes a system waits for a named approver. Sensitive changes need more than one person, and nobody approves their own request.
- 05
Work runs in isolation
Each agent action runs in its own isolated sandbox, and connectors reach only their vendor’s systems.
- 06
Everything is recorded
Requests, decisions and results go on a hash-chained audit trail your auditors can verify.
THE CONTEXT FIREWALL
Big data stays home. The model gets the summary it needs.
Sending whole ledgers to an AI model is slow, expensive and risky. Provost keeps large data inside your boundary, works on it there, and gives the model a compact view. However many tools you connect, a task starts small.
OUR BENCHMARK
MODEL CHOICE PER CLIENT
You decide which AI models do the thinking.
Each agent role can use a different model, and complex steps can be escalated to a stronger one.
Your own model endpoint
Point it at the model service you already run and trust.
A self-hosted open-weight model
An option for fully private operation. Production use of self-hosted models is on the roadmap.
Frontier models, through the gateway
Leading models such as Claude, DeepSeek or Gemini, only through the data boundary gateway and only with recorded consent.
CONNECTORS
Works with the systems you already run.
Connectors are built and contract-tested against vendor-specification test services. Connecting to your real tenant is a step in the pilot.
- WorkdayBuilt and contract-tested
- Oracle FusionBuilt and contract-tested
- Avalara AvaTaxBuilt and contract-tested
- SAP S/4HANAPlanned
- SalesforcePlanned
RUNNING IT DAY TO DAY
Built for how enterprises change, comply and grow.
Change and release management
Requested changes to policy or configuration get an impact analysis, multi-party approval and a signed release, rolled out in stages (sandbox, then pilot, then everyone), with freeze windows and one-action rollback.
Regulation watch
It monitors official legal sources for the EU, US, UK, Germany and France, verifies signed editions where publishers offer them, and hands relevant changes into the change process. You choose which sources to use, under each publisher’s terms.
Guided onboarding
A setup assistant walks an administrator through sign-in, systems, permissions, model choice, a dry run and go-live in chat, with two-person approval for sensitive steps.
Multi-tenant by design
Signed entitlements, quotas and metering per tenant, and sign-in through each client’s own identity provider.

See Provost on one of your own processes.
In a briefing we walk through Provost on a process you choose, answer your security and risk team’s first questions, and agree whether a design-partner pilot makes sense.
